Silver Linings – contains winning and selected entries from the 2021 competition conducted by Poetica Christi Press

Silver linings are the speck of light, the glimmer of hope, in times when the path we are travelling is a difficult one. This anthology does not deny the many challenging times individuals have or may face in a lifetime.  The poems do not offer a magical solution but do reveal the unexpected silver linings which come even in the deepest of difficult times.

As I look back on one of my most difficult times, the silver lining revealed in my poem, ‘On a winter’s afternoon, is a much stronger memory than the difficult time itself.
