It’s rather like being in an art gallery where each piece of work is given sufficient space for the reader to breathe before looking at or reading the next contribution. Time to think and feel, to claim the emotions the varying works evoke. ‘Salt’ is the title of my poem. ‘once upon a time’ it begins. The natural elements I often write about of the sun, river, water and trees are all there, but not quite. The story is different this time.
