My favourite time of the day is early morning, when all I can hear are the faintest sounds of the animal kingdom responding to those first rays of the sun. ‘Before day erases the moment’ is a few brief seconds of early morning silence, except for a magpie warble. I can relive the few seconds of joy through memory. I share the few seconds of joy, as I ‘pen sculpt’ as the title says, ‘before day erases the moment’.
